Kinsmen Skate-a-thon

The event started in 1947, with students attending the ice rinks in Medicine Hat on the weekend with completed pledge forms and Kinsmen and volunteers counting student laps for prizes. Nowadays, participating elementary schools pick a date to head to the ice, with the Kinsmen providing pledge forms, snacks, prizes and covering expenses.
